We build systems that serve the room rather than compete with it. Lighting shifts with the hour, shades follow the sun, speakers sit flush in the ceiling, screens retract, racks live out of sight — and what remains is a space that simply works the way it looks like it should.

Our work spans private residences, restaurants, clubs, and retail across the Roaring Fork Valley — from ground-up construction coordinated with the general contractor to renovations of buildings a century old. We are involved early, so the infrastructure is in the walls before the walls close.

Golden Horn

Overview

The Golden Horn returns to the late-1800s Aspen building it occupied for nearly half a century. The interior was rebuilt around a long maple-topped bar, horseshoe banquettes, and salvaged wood and stained glass pulled from local watering holes that have since closed — a room that reads as though it was never gone.

Our scope covered the audio and video systems throughout: the wall of screens behind the bar, distributed sound across the dining room, mezzanine, and game hall, and the control layer that lets staff move between a quiet afternoon and a full house on game night without touching a rack.

Everything was fitted into a historic shell with exposed beams and finished millwork, which meant routing infrastructure through a building that offered very few straight paths.

Overview

Ullrhof sits mid-mountain at Snowmass, rebuilt from the ground up. The building holds several dining rooms, a bar and lounge, a general store, an expo area, and two levels of outdoor patio seating — each with different acoustics, different weather exposure, and a different job to do.

We designed the audio and video distribution as a single system with independent zones, so the patio can run one way while the dining room runs another, and staff can set the whole building from a handful of wall panels. Screens range from small back-of-house monitors to large-format displays in the public rooms.

Because the project is new construction, we were in from rough-in — pulling structured wiring and setting speaker and display locations while the framing was still open. Completion is targeted for summer 2026.

Overview

The room began as bare concrete and framing. It ends as a dedicated cinema — dark walls, acoustic treatment worked into the finish, a large acoustically transparent screen, and an immersive speaker layout with overhead channels that place sound anywhere in the room.

Seating is arranged on two levels: a plush sectional at the front and a raised row of leather recliners behind it. Lighting, sources, and audio levels all recall from a single handheld remote, so the room goes from lit to running in one press.

Every speaker, conduit, and mounting point was set during construction, before drywall — which is why none of it is visible now.

Overview

Main Line Social is a street food restaurant and community gathering space taking shape on Highway 133 in Carbondale. The building puts an open, elevated dining deck on a steel truss above a ground-level entry, with the two levels reading as one room from the trail that runs past it.

An indoor–outdoor building of this kind asks a lot of an AV system: the upper deck is effectively exterior, the ground floor is enclosed, and the sound has to feel continuous while staying inside the property line. We are designing audio, video, and control to work across both levels and through the seasons.

Overview

Veronica Beard's Aspen boutique occupies a gray-washed board-and-batten storefront on East Cooper Avenue — the label's first standalone store in the valley, its interior built around organic materials and warm finishes.

Retail asks for restraint. The system had to hold even, unobtrusive sound across the sales floor and fitting areas, stay invisible against a carefully composed interior, and be simple enough that staff can open the store without thinking about it.

We coordinated closely with the design team so that every device placement respected the millwork, lighting, and sightlines already drawn.

Snowmass Club

Overview

A staged program of work across the Snowmass Club property, carried out over a single summer and fall. It covered audio and video upgrades in two club restaurants, new outdoor sound at the pickleball complex, the patio, and the golf starter stand, and a surveillance system covering the grounds.

The constraint was the calendar as much as the building. The club stays open, so each phase was scheduled around member use and seasonal operations — outdoor work in the warm months, interior work in the shoulder season, and cutover windows short enough that no venue lost a service.

Outdoor audio in particular had to survive winter at altitude while staying visually quiet in a landscaped setting.

A private residence at the Roaring Fork Club, covered end to end by a camera system that watches the interior living spaces and the exterior grounds without making itself the subject of the architecture.

Camera placement was worked out on plan before anything was mounted — angles chosen to cover approaches, entries, and circulation with as few devices as possible, and positioned so the hardware sits above sightlines rather than in them.

Footage records continuously to on-site storage, with remote viewing and alerts available to the owner from anywhere.

River Valley Ranch Residence

Overview

A ground-up custom home at River Valley Ranch, timber-framed, with Mount Sopris filling the great-room glass. It was integrated as a single system rather than a collection of parts: lighting, climate, motorized shades, a dedicated theater, and whole-house audio all run through one control layer, reachable from a wall panel, a phone, or a single keypad by the door.

A dedicated theater anchors the lower level — seven recliners, slatted acoustic panels on the side walls, and a cove-lit ceiling that dims to nothing when the room goes dark. Next to it, a media room built into the millwork puts the display, the electronics, and a pair of floorstanding towers in one cabinet run, with the rack on open shelving where it can breathe and be serviced.

Beyond those two rooms the system spreads out: audio and video at the stone fireplace in the great room, a second display and surrounds in the game room, and sound in the fitness room. Keypads and touchscreen thermostats sit at the doorways in finishes matched to each room. As with any home of this kind the work began before the drywall — every cable run, speaker location, and keypad box placed on plan and pulled during framing, so that nothing about the finished house announces the technology inside it.
